Dedicated in the fall of 1913, the Masonic Temple was THE definitive building on Main Street if you place the train station in a separate category. The Philadelphia Inquirer declared it “one of the most complete Masonic buildings in this part of the state”
Masonic cornerstone ceremony, Leaders of the Free and Accepted Masons and the community gathered to dedicate Shiloh Lodge.
Bartholomew’s Men’s Store and Jeanne’s Ladies Apparel were long-time tenants of the storefronts.

After Shiloh merged with another Masonic lodge circa 2000, the building was acquired by the borough for use as a performing arts center, a venture that proved unsuccessful.
The building is now under private ownership, the upper floors turned into apartments and the lower mixed use retail facing both Main and Madison.
